Monkeying Around

Before we begin to tell you about our day, we must warn you that we are 30+ hours without sleep. We did find our Charlie the Charger mascot before leaving Houston.

We made it through our nine hour flight without any mishaps. However, flying coach was pretty crowded! We did not break the cardinal rule of taking a nap before beginning our day in London. After lunch at a local French restaurant and getting 2 Venti Vanilla Lattes, we headed toward the London Zoo.

 Karinna, Elias, Connally, Maggie D., and Sam sent us to the zoo to meet the squirrel monkeys and the yellow seahorse. As you can see from our images...mission accomplished! Some other highlights of the zoo included the gorilla exhibit, the feeding of the lions, the predatory birds display, the reptile house (as seen in Harry Potter), and the aquarium. Honestly we really were not expecting to enjoy it as much as we did. Please enjoy the pictures, but we are exhausted and need to get some rest. Stay tuned for more adventures...
